Catie Pearl Sings 90s Jams
We weren’t walking through spiderwebs, we were walking through the 90s with Catie Pearl! Wild Peach Market was honored to host Catie Pearl on the Peach Stage, where she performed a variety of classic 90s hits all the way from Britney Spears to Radiohead. Catie’s energy and enthusiasm truly made the night, and her passion for what she does simply flows from every note she sings.
Catie Pearl drew quite the audience at Wild Peach Market, with everyone staying until the very end to cheer her on and sing along.Pearl can usually be found performing 90s Hits through Just a Girl: A Tribute to No Doubt, as well as her own individual gigs around Texas! Pearl shines as a singer and songwriter and it was a pleasure to have her join us to celebrate everything relating to the 90s!

Nostalgia Lives On
It’s hard to believe there was a time before the internet. The world felt a little smaller and moved at a slower pace. Keeping in touch meant handwritten letters, answering machines, and hoping your friend was home when you called the family phone. Plans had to be made in advance, gadgets were clunkier, and, well, fashion was definitely still figuring itself out.
Nostalgia is more than just remembering the past. It’s the feeling of being instantly transported back to another time, much like the moment in the film “Ratatouille” when a single bite of Remy’s ratatouille takes Ego back to his childhood and the comfort of his mother’s cooking. One familiar song, smell, or old toy can bring back a flood of memories and remind us of the moments that made us who we are.
For those of us who grew up in the ’90s, that might mean cassette tapes, digital pets we struggled to keep alive, gulping down cool water from a garden hose during scorching summer afternoons, Saturday morning cartoons, friendship bracelets, and staying outside until the streetlights came on. It was a time before constant notifications and endless scrolling, when moments were meant to be experienced and shared. Fun meant getting together with friends, using our imaginations, and creating memories that stayed with us.
There’s something special about revisiting those moments: the slower pace, the intentional living, and the simple joys. Not because we want to live in the past, but because they remind us how much happiness can be found in the little things.
